I've been messing around with HDR recently, and have 2 of my first images.

I love this one, but the noise is overpowering, and majorly detracts from the shot:

I'm happy with the way this one came out:

Any thoughts on the noise issue?

What ISO are you shooting at? And what program are you using to merge the photos? I had a problem with noise shooting above iso200 with my d90.

Shooting at 100. That's why I'm confused.

Download the free trial of Topaz Denoise (external link) and run number 1 through it, see what you think after.

I always put any images to be used in HDR through Neat Image firstand then load them into my HDR program.

HDR does seem to increase the noise so you need virtuall noise free pics to start with.

Other than the noise, nice job on nr 1. There's a little halo remaining around the chair on the right. I'm not good at noise reduction, so will leave that to others to suggest.
