never used Photoshop to process my images till just a few weeks ago..
so I'm kind of new to lighting & such also...portraits also...
so here's an attempt at setting up lights shooting a self portrait & processing in Photoshop...

but then other times I love the way subtleties in texture come out. Now shooting Sony A7ii, often shoot using BW view mode (shooting RAW files), much as i did when shooting Fuji X100 which helps with the whole BW visualisation. With the Sony, this also helps with focussing (if you set evf to max out contrast, saturation, and sharpness) see

Great images, Owain! You made a trip almost across whole England. I definitely prefer first set which is full of landscapes.

This year I'm going to try shooting more of them. Time to move a little bit more outside of the city!

I suppose I did, really. The not-so-West end of the West Country, London, and Cumbria ... not bad.

It's great to escape the city. I need to do that a bit more this year as well.

yep, that's the electro 35. last time I used it ( a few months ago)I had some light leakage. Better put some new seals in . I didn't notice straight away that i have the lens cover from electro on the OM-10
