OhLook insufferably pedantic. I'm not a car person by any means, the car is too far to the right by the standard advice to leave head space in front of a moving subject, the man isn't doing anything that makes an interesting pose, backgrounds like that are a dime a dozen along commercial streets with or without the panning blur, and even the car itself isn't as sharp as it could be. But the whole thing seems very good. I'm baffled. What's the secret? PRONOUN ADVISORY: OhLook is a she. | A FEW CORRECT SPELLINGS: lens, aperture, amateur, hobbyist, per se, raccoon, whoa | Comments welcome

It breaks all the rules, but there's something I like I can't put my finger on. Maybe it just feels good to break the rules from time to time, lol. -Dane

The same sense would not have been obtained had it been framed in the conventional manner. -Matt

The same sense would not have been obtained had it been framed in the conventional manner. Not sure, wouldn't the front end then be lower and the passenger leaning (thrown) forward? On the first viewing, I understood the car to be moving along smoothly. saea501 ... spilled over a little on the panties More info | Aug 27, 2016 06:43 | #3015 Oh Look's comment above regarding liking a picture and not really knowing why........reminded me of one I shot some time ago. It was actually an accident. For whatever reason I pressed the shutter release as she was moving from one pose to another and I got this. I love this picture for just some unknown reason. There are probably a lot of pictures that strike us all in this way. Remember what the DorMouse said.....feed your head.
