We've all seen a million lighthouse shots but I think you did something unique with this one Blake. I like the implied geometry of the light beam contrasted with physical structure of the house and boardwalk...not to mention the nice post processing you did to achieve that affect. I really like the contrasting geometries of the docked boats against the lines of the boardwalk and railings. IMO it's quite unique and engages the viewer. As such the foliage at the back is a little distracting....not a show stopper but it takes away from the excellent foreground composition. Perhaps you may want to experiment with a tighter crop.

Google streetview shows it's not really suprisingly now only a pile of firewood :-(

some fairly old canon camera stuff, canon lenses, Manfrotto "thingy", and an M5, also an M6 that has had a 720nm filter bolted onto the sensor:
