Continuing my beach patterns. Really enjoying this during lockdown here in Scotland. Focuses my mind when I am walking on the beach on the evening.

The first image reminds me of a squid. This is exactly as it appeared on the beach. The shell was already there, all I did was spot it, frame it and fire the shutter.

Nature is awesome!

At first I thought it was a squid, with some sort of ethereal post-processing. Love it!

Still waiting for the wisdom they promised would be worth getting old for.

I was super pleased with this. Looks so real but was created purely by the retreating tide and water draining from the beach.
