This was a hard image for me to work on. There are so many things I like about it, but I'm left with wondering if there is something else I could have done. Changing the location I shot from was not an option. This was a fun night involving a lot of beer and moving about with a camera was not in the cards. The lens is a Nikon Nikkor 50mm f1.2 AiS, probably nearly wide open or wide open. It is a really nice copy, in my opinion. CLAed and oh so smooth. First night I owned it. Fujifilm X-S10 body.
Comments and critique welcome. Thanks, Mike
G'day Mike. It's a nice shot, nice memory, and a fine moment in time.
Style-wise, I would probably go from something grittier, esp to bring out the glowing highlights the frets and some of the wear above the strings. But that's just my take. Otherwise it's just choice of the moment you share, right? Looking up, looking down, bending a note, and so on. Cheers,
