Those smaller / indie / local art museums are pretty cool, but every now and again I walk into something that makes me want to turn around and walk out, which may very well be the point, but still not my idea of a Sunday afternoon. There's another art museum in the area I went to a few years back that had some pretty bizarre stuff so I feel you on that.. This one was cool because of a lot of it was "interactive" and made of physical objects as opposed to paintings and more two-dimensional things.
