Maternity Shoot

I am doing some mat pics for a friend and I have some ideas. We are shooting inside and I would like to take some intimate type pics for her wrapped in a white curtain like. My problem is I am not too sure about lighting, how do I make the tone the lightening down so its not too dark and do I use natural light?? any suggestions would be awesome!!

Sounds like you want to go with back lighting. I suggest getting her in front of a large window with sheer drapes; wrap her in something sheer as well, and start experimenting. Maybe something like this?

I would definitely have her pose in front of a window. That will give the best looking light, though depending on the rest of the room and the weather outside it still might be a bit dark. I would try it anyways Maybe try posing her both facing the light and facing away from the light to give two different effects. Best wishes!
