My brother sent this link to me. I wish that this photo series was mine but I thought that my fellow Bird forum friends might find it intersting.

Wow, I've never seen anything like it, but from the action of the deer, it has. :)

Thanks for posting this it was very interesting. Did you see the size of the talons at end with the captured eagle. Yikes - I'd be running too!

That is pretty cool!

I saw a video a coupe of years ago that showed a golden eagle (if I remember right) taking down and killing a smaller deer that way, I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself.

Cool stuff, not that I like to see that, but it is interesting... heh

Cool picture link! Thanks for sending. I would never have imagined an eagle trying to bring down a deer.

I ran across a web link awhile back that said primitive man was hunted by eagles, that were much bigger a couple million years ago, than they are now, and we were smaller. I think this has been going on all along and now with millions of cameras going everywhere humans do, we are beginning to see the proof that it has been happening all along. I'm sure many more surprises are to come.

That fact is also proof that there are no aliens zipping around the earth. If there were, we would have gotten some in focus images by now. LOLOL

Wow these Golden Eagles are no joke! I was curious so I searched Youtube for Golden Eagles killing different animals. There is a video in particular showing them taking down fox, full grown wolves! goats, sheep and even attacking a bear!
