I know you can use Radio Popper JRx's to control power remotely but are there any other options anyone has had success with? I've got Pocketwizard Plus ii's now but I'm looking to get something that I don't have to wrestle with lowering my boom and adjusting the power on my strobes manually every time I don't get the lighting ratio right straight off the bat.

I'm using a half a dozen of the old Nikon SB flashes. I know that I'll have to make a custom TTL cord in order for them to work with the RadioPoppers. I'm just wondering if that's my cheapest option. What I do like about them is the fact that you can use them w/ studio strobes too and you can mix and match and use more than one kind of strobe at the same time.

Sorry, I have zero experience trying to remotely control portable flashes. If you had alienbees, I could help ! :D

Best of luck with it....I'm sure there is someone here that will throw in a solution or two.

Well I am looking to upgrade to some studio strobes soon, possibly some bees. What would you use in that situation?

They're no wireless solution for this? I mean I know the RadioPoppers work to control the power remotely on pretty much any kind of studio strobe including AB's but are there any other options?
