Hi.. I am new to this forum, so please bear with me.. tried searching but didnt find an answer so I'll ask from you..

I am looking for a relatively not expensive and not heavy video light that I could use for wedding photography.. If you are using one- what would you recommend?

If this was already discussed I will also very much appreciate it if you could give me some links..

Thanks!

Not sure how much light you need, but I see people using LED light arrays for video these days. They give off good light and use low energy. Wonder if something like this would work?http://www.adorama.com/BOLED35.html (external link)

IF something like that would work, I am sure you could build your own diy kit with more lights and a small battery pack that would last much longer for pretty cheap.

I have a Litepanels Micro for sale in the For Sale forums.

I picked up a dedolight with a little more power:

I love both. The focusing beam on the Dedo comes in handy for portrait shots.

I have tested LED panels and Westcott spiderlites, but this by far is the best rig I have used -- I will let neil explain it:

Nope but something like that got mentioned by Jasmine Star on her blog.

Neil from planet neil uses a lowel light, but it is more money and runs hotter.
