thanks all!
musclelflex - I'll have to remember to bring my card to work, otherwise it'll have to be next weekend! The shot above is cropped a bit (maybe 2/3 of original from memory - not sure now!)

That Sukhoi is MAD with a capital MAD. Planes just should not do some of those stunts! I love it when he prop hangs it.

Chris - yep, that Sukhoi is all kinds of wrong! Brilliant display flying!

yep! that prop hang was awesome! didn't think full sized planes could do it! i know they do it all the time with model planes now (it's called 3d flying) but never seen a full size do it! wish i had my camcorder as well!
i saw a Honda Biplane took off also...but it was nowhere to be found? i was looking for it while the sukhoi was performing hoping it's flying in the background but never saw it! i couldn't have imagined it as i took pics of it when it took off!

I took 'only' around 150ish. I only had a borrowed 512 card and a Sandisk 256 I got free, as my 2 Lexar 80x 1gb's are back at Lexar  (external link)
I'll have to go through them again next weekend and see how many are keepers, but quite a few where binners! I only got chance to process & upload a few faves!
It didn't help with those bl**dy tannoy posts every 30ft along the crowd line - I can't believe they put them out about 20ft from the crowd! I had to dodge 4 of them on a landing / take-off run. Why they didn't a) half the number of them and b) PUT THEM BEHIND THE CROWD LINE I'll never know!

The honda biplane was a Pitts Special (S2b?) - I got a shot of it landing, but that was the last I saw of it! Dunno if it was flying Sunday ?

only 150 shots? darn! you managed to control yourself better than i did with the shutter! mind you, i was with 3 guys all with mkII's and BIG L lenses...and i kept hearing them firing shots umpteenth times per second! so me with my humble old 28-200, all i could do to keep up was fire away at 5 frames per second too! heh!
all I had too was a 512 and a borrowed 256 card! but i had my laptop in the car!
