Winter is coming to an end, here are a few shots from the last month or so.

All shots taken with 7D and 100-400L.

An adult Stellers Sea Eagle.

One of the rare occasions I used a 1.4X t/c with the 100-400 was with this rare Mountain Hawk Eagle.

Beatiful birds...I'm always in awe of people who capture birds of prey feeding! Nice Job! One of my "dream captures" would be to image one of our hawks grabbing a morning dove our of midair in our backyard. Seen it happen three times. I know it sounds crool, but hawks have to eat too!

What's amazing is they never touch the ground. As they swoop in the doves take off, the hawks slow down and bam, grab them as if they were landing and fly off without ever touching the ground!

What an amazing series. Some of these I've never heard of, you captured some beautiful birds. Keep them coming! I really enjoyed seeing them.
