1d3 incompatible with 35L??

Hey guys,

All of my lenses are spot on but my 35L requires +20 backward MA. Odd how the other bodies require NO adjustments.

Newest firmware and Canon NJ has confirmed AF is good.

Am I missing something??? is it time to buy a 24L mkII?? :)

Just wanted to see if others have had this phenomenon. I've read others that have had no luck even after sending to canon for a tweek/recal.

If the images are in focus with the correction, I wouldn't worry about it.

I have the combo of 1D3 and 35L and have no focus accuracy problems.

1DX MK II, 5D MKIV x2, 24L II, 35L II, 50L, 85LIS, 100LIS Macro, 135L, 16-35LIS, 24-105LIS II, 70-200LIS, 100-400LIS II

I had that combo and picture were really sharp with out MA. But yeah time to buy that new 24L II :)

Hi, I have my MKII + 35L also, the 35L I have to +8 to get the best result.
