g/f+new 85mm=love

Man I love my new lens...and my g/f of course Here are a couple shots I took the first day i got it

1) This is the only one I did some editing to, the rest just have sharpining and color corrections done in RAW

Look good except the foreground object that are ruining them IMO

yeah i was trying something new, guess it didnt work lol.

use blurred foreground objects as a framing elements, how you introduced it here make them very intrusive.

I see, well i guess I will have to be more careful next time when attempting this

The tree in the first shot doesn't work for me. And I agree about the grass.
Nevertheless, I think you did a good job with the colors. The 85mm is amazing yes???

yes it is a great lens! so I guess no one likes #1 or #3...so how is #2? lol

i see what your trying to do!! great nonetheless.i like them

In nr.2, i think her "bodyparts" are all over the place.

I like the colors in these and your girlfriend is beautiful..

#1 is ruined by the grass through her frame.
#2 could be a sexy shot if she were belly down or facing you with out her arm coming across and her knee on the sidewall and her foot in the rear...
#3 is the best of the lot to me. I still don't think that the grass works here for these. She's quite pretty. Shoot some more with less distractions and less body parts all over the place! (easier said than done....I can't pose them myself either...yet.)

The greens are too saturated for my tastes. Gratz on the new lens.
