LR "failed to convert image to native blob "

Whenever I click on SLIDESHOW in Lightroom 2.6, i get a popup box saying:
"failed to convert image to native blob"

what is this? anyone know how to resolve this?

Are you doing this with Raw files, jpeg, or otherwise?

BLOB is Binary Large OBject and is a type of database field used for storing binary data like images. I'd say that some component in LR has become corrupted. Try reinstalling it.

It's just a matter of clicking install and letting it do it. All your settings and catalogues will be retained.

I've had this error in the Web module. Turned out it didn't like my Identity Plate. If you've got a custom one of those, try removing it.
