The dinos were shot at the 'Walking with Dinosaurs - The Arena Spectacular' I attended on Feb 24th.

You can see more in my Examiner.com (external link) article Walking with Dinosaurs in Portland, Oregon (external link) as well as a slideshow.

Really amazing. Just out of curiosity, what was the overall PP time investment here?

Thank you. The time from Lightroom to ending in photoshop was about 4.5hrs.

That may seem like a long time but it is not. The longest time I have spent on an image was for a background plate for a movie - eight 8.5 hour days! Grueling! :D

Nicely done, that's a good image that you have brought it to life.
A couple of things, I see that the sun's light is on the left of the trees, and on the right of the dinosaurs, and also, the adult's foot need anchoring into the leaves more.
Aside from that, it's done very well, I really like it a lot.

Doh! I uploaded the wrong version. The one with the correct lighting is up now.

As for the leaves on the feet, the path is REAL well trod and there are actually some on his feet, you just can't see them as well in the small version. :D

Definitely looks better now! :)
The Momma's foot still doesn't appear to be 'sunk' into the leaves due to her claws are showing even the bottoms.
I'm not nit-picking really, although it looks like it, I am just discussing it. :)
For me, the weight of the dinosaur would make her sink down, not just covered in some leaves, but make a depression where the tips of the nails wouldn't show.
That may not help the image though, because it helps tie in what we 'need' to see I guess.

Anyway, good job on that, and I'm just trying to help, in case the science museums call and need some pictures.

Randy
