Are any of you getting the "Why $600? I see it on BayPhoto for $350" line yet?

Does BayPhoto show costs? I don't use them, but I thought you had to have an account which requires being in business to see their prices, no?

Having a company use your images to create an album that they sell is commercial use, which is prohibited in my contract, and would leave them liable to a lawsuit.

Most places don't display their prices, but Bay Photo publicly displays their prices. http://bayphoto.com …albums_kingstonprices.htm (external link)

If that's the case, you're either using the wrong lab or BayPhoto does not allow you to "hide" them. My pricier items come from providers that will not publically publish prices. I'll use Mpix for some of my budget items, and though they do publish prices, their packaging and everything can be made annonymous. The profit we earn is easily justified, but it's simpler to not have to have the conversation.

I'm just ordering one from blurb today. I got the 12x12 premium paper. We'll see how it turns out, for $100 it's worth a shot. I'm going to try another from Asuka books soon to compare :)

Asuka's quality will blow it out of the water. They are much better.
