It's been along time since I've taken any photos. So me and the girlfriend messed around with the camera. So i figure I'd post these two up.

I really like the composition of #2 -- it sort of looks like its '70s rock star portrait. I think the white balance is off though, it has a yellowish cast. It may be the similar color tones of her hair and the sofa. Overall I like the shot -- but I think you need to fix the color tones.

I think they are great and you're on to something! #2 looks like a classic rolling stones magazine shot. Love it.

I went for the yellow look for more of a vintage look I guess you can say. The orignal has the correct white balance. But thanks for the compliments. It's been awhile since Ive shot anything.

You really should keep shooting -- because you have some good stuff (I looked at some of your other shots), and I like what you do. At least I understand the yellow cast now -- although, I would still like to see a version a little more toned down. But the composition is great. Like VanklePhoto, I thouhgt it looked like a classic Rolling Stones photo.
