Was looking for something to do this weekend and I saw a poster advertising that there would be a dog-sledding race going on for the AWG (Arctic Winter Games - the Arctic's version of the Olympics...a massive competition of traditional arctic sports spanning the globe). There were about 10 races onHighway 5
. I think the track was about 10 kms long in total but we stuck around near the start/finish line while briefly convoying down towards Ft. Fitzgerald to drive alongside the racers.

I liked this dog the best...when he was running (or she, can't really tell) it looked hilarious (blue eyed dog cross eyed with its tongue lapping about)
