Yep, had the shutter at 10s and flash at 1/8th-1/16th power

I set something up the other night to give it a go whilst messing around with waterdrops but I didn't have the right things to burn.

Yeah - i inverted the picture so that the black background turned white, then manipulated the smoke colours in photoshop. This image is linked from facebook, so please excuse the poor quality.
