Nice shots Kay, much cleaner exposures than the last set. Was this a smaller venue, or were you jus waiting for the skaters to get closer and using flash?

Bigger venue, but the colour of the hall was totally different, no red curtains, blue and green walls and yellow floor, but nice clean grey for everything.

Used flash in all of the photos

Much better shots Kay, nice set :)

Hayden, SVA are horrendously overpriced. Tbh though most importers seem to be. I looked at a 9 year old Integra Type R, 60k miles, 'well used' interior and they wanted £8.5k (place up near my old man). For the same money I could get a mint 04 plated 70k 320Ci (which I still think is too expensive).

I have given up looking at cars, I'd rather keep the ST than get shafted by a dealer at the moment.

Open the light room folder and find the catalogue file .LRCAT file. remember where it is. Open light room and go file - open catalogue. navigate to the catalogue file from earlier and jobs a gooden!

Oh i fixed the problem with custom settings. I wasnt registering them to the camera. all sorted now.

A few photos from Valletta, Malta. Was there for a conference recently so didn't see too much other than the convention centre (which in itself was a 15th century hospital built by the Knights of St John); my wife on the other had tagged along as a WAG and did a lot more sight seeing. Will post some of her photos in the next few days, along with some of mine. Only photoshopped a few as it took three hours to download, sort and rename the files last night.

Don't know if anyone's seen this or has the mags but the BBC Wildlife magazine has put it's "masterclass" tutorials online at http://www.bbcwildlifemagazine.com/masterclasses.asp (external link)

A good spot though I see most are now 'older' tutorials but worth having all the same.

That was a great meal ~ you must have a good set of pans :p

It's not easy to compare import car prices with domestic ones as in the case of the Integra it being a performance JDM car the chances are that it is far from standard both the chassis and engine have probably been tuned and if it's a fresh import it would of been well maintained as the shaken test is much stricter than the MOT and can cost thousands of yen to pass, one of the reasons jap cars are imported over here, so people don't usually keep cars that long in Japan unless they have already spent a lot on them. Where's the BMW will be a standard car. In the case of the Nissan Elgrand Hyden is looking at it is a JDM car only and being such a very highly speced car and European cars of the same age don't have the same kit, or even some new ones.
But at the end of the day you pays your money and makes your choice.

Walked halfway round the roman wall. nice views and the weather was great. When we got back to the church we had to go through the alpaca enclosure. Victor was a bit concerned about getting "hoofed" by the them!

Aye in the toss-up between a Hi-Ace Regius Grandia Windtourer or an Elgrand vs a Euro people carrier the former win by a country mile. For the money we are talking we can get an 04 plate Ghia spec Galaxy or a late 90s model of one of these as a fresh import. Looking at a lot of them the fresh imports are low mileage and tend to be in good nick. On the flip side the spec list is amazing and they have far more character in the styling especially the higher models with the factory body kit (not the crazy aftermarket kits the Japs love).

Jon remember VD's astrovan before he walled it, that sort of quality on the interior.

SWMBO was urgently (not an ambulance but post assessment as a result of the GP sending her there) admitted to hospital on Monday, so this week shows no sign of improvement yet in the BB household :(

Laurence fingers crossed she improves soon
