No Problems on a tripod! I beginning to think I cant take pictures. I will make a post later on and Im happy to send anyone my shots. My IV is no different to the other IV I tried...........I think I must need photography lessons :(

Well, dont bother with lessons, keep at it. I can send you my magic touch that Sylvester needs to make his camera work.

if you were to buy a set of headphones to listen to music at home on what would you get? My old ones are falling apart.

This style I'm looking for not the small portable ones.

Glad you don't have a camera problem. Sounds much the same with me and the 7d as mentioned earlier fine on a tripod, but not handheld. I am sure this must be something to do with how close the pixels are on the sensor as like you I was fine with my previous camera.

Now I know the camera is fine I don't pixel peep to 100% anymore normally stop about 75% which is fine for anythin I will be printing out.

Oh and my hanheld shots still pass alamy ok.

Hi all :)

Gosh it's been a while since I posted here! Been manically busy with work and other commitments I ust haven't had the chance to come on here lately :(

I've got a bit of a favour to ask ... my Dad has been asked if he knew anyone who could photograph an event this Saturday at 3pm at the Cobham Hilton hotel. It's a party for a 105 year old with a large number of her relatives, and they want professional group photos taken, and photos taken of the guests. He asked me first, but I just don't have the time for it at the moment - for one thing I'm giving a half-evening talk on panorama photography next Monday at my photography club and I haven't started writing the presentation yet!

Please zip me a PM if you're interested in doing this. It would be paid, and (within reason ;)) you can charge what you like. It's a very big event and they've already paid a lot for a band and various other entertainment, so they would be happy to pay for a professional photography service too. I'm assuming they would want a fair number of prints made as well.

The organiser will also start looking around so if you're interested, put your hand up quickly :)

Many thanks and sorry I haven't been around much lately!

David :)

I would be up for that - not sure if my style of images is what they would be after at a 105 year old's birthday though - let me know if you;re interested.

LOL! Nice find David.

Funny enough, I spoke about you over the weekend. Would love to see what crazy engineering work you have been up to recently.

=Matt 'Photog' Peters;10028881]Well at least you have ruled out a problem with the camera! :D

Just need to find a cure for your shaking hands now!

Matt/Everyone,

Thanks for your support. I still would like to put some links up to large files and get your opinions if thats ok? Ill post the images blind and let you pick your favorite. Then Ill tell you which is which? It was very surprising to see the variances in color between 3 generations of camera. In particular I thought the III definitely hunted for focus more.

No Cheating and reading the exif now ;) play fair. Id value your opinions on the images.
