Loving the one I got from Victor. Still really want a 28 1.8 though for the tighter DOF and low light shooting. Think I have one, bit more than I wanted to pay but within the going rate for them. Jon

Thats what I put it down to on mine, I know they normally have a default map and then learn timings to match the fuel but for some reason after resetting mine lets the revs drop too low when at idle giving a stall. I can only assume the default map just doesn't agree with 95RON. 5D | 40D | Σ24 f1.8 | 50 f1.8 II | 85 f1.8 | 70-200 F4L | 540EZ x2 | Nissin Di622

I can only assume the default map just doesn't agree with 95RON. At first I thought the car was fubar'd. Though it's done it every time I've had the battery off so I see it as normal for the car now. I don't want to sound like I'm teaching my grandmother to suck eggs but it's not a vtec that's mean to be running on 97 ron is it? The reason I ask is that both my cars run on super as standard and have a " use 97ron " sticker on the inside of the filler flap. When I bought the Sunny and was looking through the sheaf of paper work and bills that came with it the previous owner had complained of pinking just after he got it and I found that the timing had been adjusted to use 95 ron robbing it of about 10 bhp. Needless to say that was put right sharpish Film gear Rollecord V, Yashica A, Halina 35X, Olympus Trip and Canon EOS 5, 500 and 300v

That said all Accords of mine's age are VTEC engines so may benefit from higher octane fuel, not that I can afford that kind of fuel. 5D | 40D | Σ24 f1.8 | 50 f1.8 II | 85 f1.8 | 70-200 F4L | 540EZ x2 | Nissin Di622
