its my B'day on Sunday 25th so not quite yet. However my Headphones just arrived, causing a stir in the office when I put on the big purple spaceage headset lol. Sound is OK fit on the head is a bit weird will have a proper look when I get home as they kind stand out in here lol!

Up for that Comp aswell

"OK" Sound, not good enough :(

If it sound anything less than excellent to you, I would send it back.

Give them 10 hours to burn in so you get the sound as it should be.

Great stuff.

Right, I have entered our club on their site here: http://www.dslruser.co.uk …le&act=clubprofile&id=511 (external link)

As the homepage for our club I created a page on my website as I couldn't get the link to POTN to be accepted for some odd reason! So our club website is this at the moment: http://www.mikegreenphotography.co.uk/potn (external link)

I'll get a new thread sorted out for the entries page shortly.

BATTLE OF THE CLUBS entries here:

https://photography-on-the.net …p?p=10037210#post10037210 for the Portrait round

and here:

https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=861327 for the Landscape round.

If you have any ideas or suggestions on the wording I'm all ears!

Sounds interesting Mike, if i take any pics that are worthy, i'll load em up! :D

Mike. We can't upload photos to the dslr photo site without knowing what the secret password is.

Also, what are the size/dpi requirements for submitted images?

Just plugged them into the PC and them the Amp, oh yeah these are Excellent ;) really didn't listen properly at work. Really light, kinda furry ear cover against the face, you can try them when you come round ;) I need an extension cable now for a couple of metres.

COMPETITION ALERT...

Right chaps, here's an idea I have had for getting us into a creative mood each month.

I was browsing through DSLR User Magazine and they have just announced their "Battle of the Clubs" competition: http://www.dslruser.co.uk …om_competitions&Itemid=11 (external link)

The prizes on offer are quite tasty and I am thinking about entering a POTN SEUK club into the competition.

The way the comp works is thus:

The way we could play it is to each enter a shot into a new thread and then vote on our favourite 3 images, then the top 3 images chosen would be the POTN SEUK entry for that month's competition.

I think to make it fair the entrants here must have a combined post count of a minimum of 30 posts across the UKSE threads, that way we get regular contributors rather than people in it just for the competition. Much like the book competition.

What do you all think?

sounds gd :)

My entry's up. Would this pass the "technical" side of things, do you think? I think it's ok on the "impact" angle.. :D
