As I think I mentioned before, My wife and I made it to Paris... back in December 2009.

So yeah, I've been a bit lazy about processing my pictures. But I'm slowly getting there. The theme for today's batch is: the Sacré-Coeur in Paris (external link) and its gargoyles. I like gargoyles.

Here are some of my favourites:

Sacré-Coeur in perspective

Anytime you're feeling patient, you can always borrow the bag hide. Be prepared to sit fairly still for an hour or two though... :D

I've just heard that the guy who crashed in the Triumph race is in a fair condition!

So I;m happy to release the photos..

Result:
Ashley has broken his collar bone, shoulder and a bone in the socket. He has also damaged his lung on his left hand side. However he is in good spirits as is Susan. He is having a scan tomorrow and if his lung is ok then he can go back to his local hospital. His shoulder needs plating and this has already been organised by his mum.

Susan said his first words were (as usual with racers!!)

[1] How's my bike (mums answer - better shape than you!!)
[2] Mum they've cut my leathers (mum's answer - calm down well get another set)
[3] I'll be back on my bike for Silverstone (mum's answer - yeah right)

...............and the one that is a little unusual

[4] Mum have you got my rubber duck (mum's answer - yes I have it) - you'll all have to ask Ashley about that one.

His mum said that everyone at the track was excellent from the guys that packed up the Jones's stuff to the folks whose house she has been staying at.....and especially the folks at Swansea hospital and of course the Bemsee medics, staff and marshalls

Rich

Here is said duck on the back of the bike;)

just a few cheeky shots before I have a much needed sleep...

here's a sky full of Red Kites (amongst others!) at Gigrin Farm...

the sun shone shortly after the feeding frenzy - these beautiful animals are truly the Kings of the Welsh skies...
