Hopefull what I have left will do. As you suggested in the WHF thread, I'll take both my 100-400 and 70-200 and leave one in the car.

I'll do my usual trick of bring everything and use one lens! lol - I guess it means there's some glass kicking about if people want to try something different!! :D

haha i have often thought this. Usually we rely on webcams and hearsay for weather reports.

I love it! Some people don't rate the noise performance but that's only when compared to more expensive cameras so it's no real suprise. I love the build, the faster focussing, brighter view finder and overall IQ compared with the 400D I upgraded from. Are you looking to buy one?

I remember reading somewhere that the 50D model had some focusing issues. Is that true?

As for me buying one I think i will upgrade eventually. Not sure when though - i reckon by the end of the year. Isnt there a 60D due too? Maybe that will bring the price down...

Not sure when a new version is due or if there will even be one. I can't see what you could bring out on a 60D that would not make it a 7D.

Not had any focussing issues on the 2 copies I have.

Morning all!

Had a massive panic this morning - woke up at 9.30 and though "ah crap! im late for work!"
After jumping out of bed i then remembered it was my day off. Phew!

Really looking forward to WHF on Sunday - could be the last time i use the 1DII as well which will be sad.

By the way, anyone thinking of buying Red Dead Redemption, definitely do so - its bloody awesome!

Rob, if I had known you were off could have arranged an afternoon explore today........

Righto, I am after a new bag...........yes I know another one..

Must be able to take my gripped 5d with 24-105 a 70-200 and my wide angle, flash, batteries charger etc. also my laptop ideally its a widescreen 16", all on holiday this summer so must be sized to be carry on, dont really want a backpack as they get a bit hot on the back......so what ya recommend?

Preferably something that does not scream camera bag either
