I'm sorry Paula. That's really hard. I don't even know what to suggest.

I'm at the end of my rope...you can hang here with me if you want.

I'm at the end of my rope with this dog too. Thank gawd it's not ours. Still I guess it would be better if it was our dog. At least I would have more time to work with him.
Guess we need a special step for people with stubborn dogs.

Lisa, has she ever gone on furniture before? Could be she has a UTI.

Sorry it is so frustrating, I know my SIL is having a hard time with Ketchup and the potty training as well.

I was wondering but her urine is clear. If it keeps happening, I'll take her in to check though.

Bobert, I guess I'm just VERY concerned she won't grow out of this. She's getting worse, not better.

She will stop....she is just experiencing the terrible twos. But a UTI is a very real possibility too.....and clear urine is no guarantee there isn't an issue.

Afternoon all. It appears that Blondie's asthma is better under control than we expected....I fully expected the opposite news after her attack a few weeks ago and yesterday when I was summoned to the school. WHEW.

Glad to hear this Diane. It is great news.

a little ways down (for you sailors) are some seriously iced boats. Worth looking at.

Wow - that looks really cold.

GAH!! I'm SO frustrated.

Okay, so I've told you about Hale's chewing issue. Well in the last week she's reverted in potty training. She went to the bathroom on the carpet a few days ago, much to my surprise. Tonight she went on the guest bed. Thankfully Dan caught her and got the blankets off.

But I'm at the end of my rope. I'm just saying.

I'm NOT a dog person. I have dogs that destroy my car, house, yard. I HATE this. HATE it.

GAH!

Lisa - she will grow out of it with time. Just remember that, and continue to tell her she is a bad girl when she does it (maybe give her a time out too) ((((((Lisa))))))

Hello.

Robert that is so great for you guys. She has to be ready to get the show on the road.

Here is an interesting story for you. We meet with a personal trainer a few days ago. I wasn't really into it but I was trying to be on my best behavior for my wifes sake. We weren't there for 5 minutes and the guy asks us to leave....immediately. Says he can't work with us and wants us out right now. Needless to say she was pissed and I didn't even understand what was going on.

Come to find out tonight the guy was scared to death of me. He actually said I scared him. This I do not understand. I'm not the most personable person but fear has to be a little bit of an over reaction.

People can be dumb. He is not the trainer for you.

Good Evening everyone.

Kody - I am glad that I did not catch up at work, otherwise I would have really gotten in trouble with all of the laughter.

Robert - Wishing you and Mari good luck tomorrow. I hope that everything goes well and easy for Mari and the Baby.

^^That. That would be my next guess. Remember what was going on with Dora.....she had stones and then we figured out that is what was causing her accidents everywhere, including my bed.

Well folks...time for me to get to bed. *whew* Big day gonna start in T-minus 6 hours...give or take a few minutes of sleep.
Night.

That's called the teenage years. She'll get better so long as you remain consistent.

Dogs, like teenagers, learn things very fast. But they also feel the need to test everything and always find the limits.

Be consistent in your expectations of her and most of all make sure that she understands what you want. That is what I like most about the book I am working on right now with Cisco. A lot of the training things I thought I knew are actually contradictory. Thus leaving the dog confused and unsure of what you want them to know.

Thinking back, Lisa, it took awhile for Cricket to be completely trained. She never did go on the furniture. But, she had accidents occasionally up until this past fall. She's going on 3yrs old this spring. Some dogs are just extremely stubborn I guess.
