Have fun Chief....I like most of his music myself.

Yeah. Well, . . .

dude...that's not much of a recommendation...YOU like Rick Astley!:lol:

That.

p.s. 2. It would have been funnier if you'd told him to throw a bra

Not to Lois . . .

:( I'm sorry, Lisa. Having dogs can be SO frustrating sometimes. It sucks.
BUT.. take heart. The good things DO outweigh the sucky things.

I second (or third?) the thought that she may have a UTI. When Cara was a puppy, she WOULDNT housebreak, and I was SO frustrated, adn so irritated. Turns out she had a pretty bad UTI. Easily fixed by antibiotics.

Yeah. Lots of things that can break house training. Get her checked out for that.

HAHA! That is so funny! He was scared of you??! He's a freak. You're a great guy, bordering on the cuddly side. ;)

Maybe that was why?

I really really REALLY like that!!!

And that is definitely one of my favorites.

cfpackerfan wrote in post #9780151 (external link)
We have a 'four on the floor' rule in our house. Dogs do NOT get attention or love or anything unless all 4 feet are on the floor.
It works great for us, and our dogs (including the fosters) don't jump up on US.
Company is a different story. For some reason, they think that they can maul company when they come through the door.

SO...
I'm putting a sign on my front door that says:

We are rehabilitating dogs here. They will be excited to see you.
We strongly enforce a 'four on the floor' rule. If my dogs jump on you, PLEASE ignore them.
Only pay attention to them and pet them if all four feet are on the floor.
Thank you.

You think that'll work?

Maybe. If they decide to pay attention . . .

cfpackerfan wrote in post #9780157 (external link)
LOL

I actually have a sign on my door right now that says "You are entering the crazy dog zone. Pretend not to notice."

LOL!

cfpackerfan wrote in post #9780159 (external link)
And I have one in my kitchen that says "They call me 'the crazy dog lady" like that's a bad thing."

On second thought, it may just get lost among all the other signs . . .

I think I missed why you switched to facebook instead of here? (I thought I was all caught up too!)

ISTR it was at least partly because of the 8 images/post limit.

Tonight I was watching a movie, so I had Wally on a leash, and he was sleeping next to me. ...

So, uh, did Tevin do anything while you were watching a movie? Hmmm?

ISTR it was at least partly because of the 8 images/post limit.

^^^That had a lot to do with it. In James Bovine, there were days when I was posting 15 frames and in the last Winter TROlympics, Lisa's "Freestyle Snowboarding" event was 24 frames. That's pushing the rules a bit.

The other reason was so that I didn't clog up the thread with comics if there was someone who didn't want to see them. The TR's started out photography based, but they've veered from that course a long time ago.

Yet another reason was so I could write stuff about the comic, trivia, future events, answer questions, etc. and not feel like I was boring people who didn't want to know about that stuff.

It's a cheater's way of having a website without having a website.

Because some of you have CS2 and can't use totally rad's dirty pictures for texture overlays, I have an alternative. I think this may even work for photoshop elements.

This is the easiest way to get a clean look with textures:

copy/paste your texture on to your photo.
change the opacity to approx 40-60% and choose hard light ("hard light" usually works best but you can use "overlay" or "multiply") Also be sure adjust the opacity to what you like the best. Do this first.

Then make a duplicate layer, click create clipping mask for the previous texture layer.

Change 2nd layer to: Normal 100% opacity

Click on fliter:blur:gaussian blur. Make opacity 11.1 pixels.

Add layer mask to 2nd texture layer.

Make sure cursor is on layer mask
Click "ctrl I" to invert the layer mask.

Then making sure your brush is white and still on layer mask, paint in the areas where you don't want texture.

This method will still keep the color of your texture but not marks. It's perfect for skin/faces/eyes wherever you don't want color.

actually here's a zip of a texture action (I just made it using these steps) for those with photoshop (won't work in elements...you'll have to go step by step)...should work in cs2. Make adjustments to the original texture layer (if you don't want hard light, change to overlay or multiply and adjust the opacity to how you like).
