Good evening everyone. My hands and arms hurt. We were doing more cage building today at the Sanctuary and I spent the better part of the afternoon, cutting hog rings to separate cages, then moving that part of the cage, only to hog ring or wire it back together again. John has also told me that he wants to be up and out of the house by 6 am for the air show tomorrow, so I am off for a hot shower and bed. Have a great weekend everyone.

It's a two hour drive just to get to the air show...

Evening folks :D.

First off, I didn't quote anything, but I did read through the posts and I want to say: Thank you everyone for all the well wishes for Samuel, Mari, Evan and I.

Been a loooooong day and I still have not gotten any sleep yet. We just took Samuel back to the nursery about 20 minutes ago so we can get rest, but I decided to upload the photos and video to YouTube. The photos though, are taking forever to upload....I am using my own air card and I think the hospital wifi is interfereing or something. But the hospital wifi cuts off my uploads...its weird.

Evan is so excited that he has a little brother now...he wants to play Wii with his brother and have a 'war' with his Star Wars action figures against Samuel

Anywho, here are two videos, both almost similar...I was trying to catch him sucking his thumb. The pictures will come later since they are taking very long to upload...maybe it will go faster when the virus scan finishes here on the laptop I am on.

Enjoy the videos...you can actually hear him screaming. Mari said she has one of him hiccuping....I'll try to get that one up later. Now....I am going to bed!

I'll post photos when they are uploaded. Nighters!

we find we spend less now that the kids have moved out. But we still spend over the amount we need to get it back. And it really does save. Having Dan know the prices for things makes it easy to know what to (and not to) buy. Though I HATE it when the stop carrying things I really like (like diet snapple...it's back! YAY) and Alaskan beer. But meat is definitely a huge bonus. And cheese...they have such a great selection of good cheeses for good prices.

We don't have a Costco here. We do have Sam's Club though and I love it!!! They have the best meat selection around here and the vegies are always very nice.

A very good question, Wool. Allow me to answer that. The Native Americans discovered early on, both by experience and by looking it up on Wiki, that hoof maintenance was essential for the health of the horse. There were many ways by which they would maintain proper hoof care. One would be to use the terrain to wear them down, like Nature's own pedipaw for horses. Another way would be to train the horse to do its own nails. The indigenous tribes would work with the horse until it was able to hold and use its own Trim or Revlon hoof trimmer. Usually, however, the most common route the Native Americans would use would be to assign someone within their camps to deal with the issue. It was a talent that was handed down generation to generation. They were usually called "One Who Does Horse Nails On Fridays Noon To Three".

Watched one called 'The first year'. Talk about a dumb show. It was sooooo incredibly dumb that I actually laughed at a few things.:lol:

Cat you would of been proud of me. I had a glass of red wine! and so far no headache. It was called Red Dog something or other.
