Zane, any word on your niece today? And how did it go for you yesterday?

Caitlin is more stable today and getting nutrients through a tube. She is doing better as often is the case when she is admitted. The dangerous part is she makes herself so sick that when she goes in giving her food does not help until she is stable. It is a dangerous situation.
I am okay, on going stuff I was following up on. Thanks for asking.

I'm glad you updated us.
I was wondering about both these things.

So we're watching midsummer murders (British tv)...the thing I've noticed is that in every episode, nearly everywhere they go, people have dogs. You just don't see that in American shows. You see dogs...but just not constantly in every place they visit. I wonder if it's a cultural thing? It's not like people here don't have dogs.

If it is in the countryside I would say cultural. Horse folk tend to have dogs with them.

Aren't dogs also allowed in many public places, like stores, in Europe also? And I don't mean Pet Smart either. But most retail stores?

It was a long time ago that I was there but a lot of people in Paris had dogs. They had dogs bigger than their cars in many cases

I think I got some nice shots today :) There was a guy there with a wolfhound cross. He had it jumping a fence that was 4'6" or bigger.

lol!!

I haven't been to Europe since I was a we'an so I don't remember anything.

I just thought it was interesting. I have several British tv series and it is pretty consistent on all of them (except Hyacinth Bucket's house)

WOW!
I think I've seen a wolfhound at the dog park. I think. It was a GIANT dog.

I am looking forward to seeing your shots.

I want photos of all those little board feet running around your place :lol:

You are a goof, you know.

Zane, I sure hope Caitlin continues to improve. I plead ignorance with this problem (is it a disease?). I assume this is the type of thing she has to make the decision to change. It sure must be tough on her parents.

My brother travels to different European countries with work, and I guess some of them allow pets in restaurants too, but he also said every dog he saw was very well trained, and when in the restaurant, would lie beside the chair of his owner the whole time. When on the street, they are at heel all the time too. I wish more folks around here would train to even half that level.

Cool link to the owl. :D

Thanks Jim. It is a mental illness. Physically there is nothing wrong with her but her brain is convinced otherwise.
