One of the pups we were looking at before we got Boo had sp in her and omg I've never itched so bad for so long in my LIFE. Needless to say, we had to cross her name off our list. She was a pitty mix too. But anyway, Amy is the one who explained it to me. Blog

You know, I read things about owner surrenders all the time. Foreclosures and things...especially in this economy, can't be helped. Tragic happenings when a pet has to go & that makes me sad. But this is one of the reasons I just don't understand. You'd think when people adopt dogs that they'd think "hey, I'm of child bearing age...it could happen...should I take on this responsibility"...instead of just giving them up. .. Sometimes I wonder, we had such trouble adapting to a springer spaniel (which is supposed to be an easy dog for a newb) what would have happened if we'd gone with our wants. The whole time I've never seen him anywhere near the fence of his enclosure, always in the middle and looking rather pissed off. There is a sign that says not to pet him and mesh wire on the lover fencing where the kids would be. As soon as he saw my guys he came over and rubbed along the fence and let them all pet and scratch him, it was amazing. ![]() That was a nice treat for your guys Crissa. cfpackerfan wrote in post #9869310 The only one missing is Diesel, but I bet he's sleeping at the vet's right now too. She is doing better as often is the case when she is admitted. The dangerous part is she makes herself so sick that when she goes in giving her food does not help until she is stable. It is a dangerous situation. I am okay, on going stuff I was following up on. Thanks for asking. Glad Caitlin is stable for now. Hope she improves soon. cfpackerfan wrote in post #9872686 I think it's impossible for us to take a wee break and relax for a couple days. He's 3 months old. ![]() All of the new pups are adorable. Heather
