Oh geez, I was just catching up on Neil's blog, and I'm so jealous! Wow. Not THAT'S a vacation!

I KNOW. I'm usually able to separate myself from what I view. Not this time.:lol:

I think it's impossible for us to take a wee break and relax for a couple days. We just got back from CA last night, and Lorraine and I jumped back in the van today, and did shelter runs.
We came back with 8 dogs.

Look at little Kenji. He's 3 months old.

Awww, great name for him

Taking our 4 new big dogs for a walk to see how they get along with each other. All was well!

Yay, nice pack

No, but raised together. 2 years old, surrendered to the shelter because their family had a baby, and the dogs were 'too much' to handle.

Grrrrrrr:mad:

This little guy looked like our Levi, so we named him Strauss.

Yeah well... the shelter volunteer who named him failed to realize that Kenji is Japanese, and he is a Chinese Shar-Pei.

Hi Chris

Hey Zane.

I'm bringing home a sister for Maggie tomorrow. Her official status right now is "foster sister." But we'll play it by ear once we meet.

Long story, but she's had a not-so-good life. She has spent most of her time in a crate. She's a 16 month old yellow lab. They have to get rid of her (thank goodness). If they couldn't find a home they were gonna put her down. :(

LOL. You could name him Kenji Li Mu  Then you'll have both covered. After all you don't KNOW that his father wasn't a Japanese Chin. In fact, one of those famous dna tests would probably back me up.

Yes. Her name is definitely going to be changed if she's a permanent member of the family. Nothing wrong with the current one, but I have too many friends and relatives with that name. :D

She is quite a bit smaller than Maggie I think, and not as sleek. But she is a pretty girl.

So, what are you thinking of naming her? Huh? HUH?!
