Hey Zane.

I'm bringing home a sister for Maggie tomorrow. Her official status right now is "foster sister." But we'll play it by ear once we meet.

Long story, but she's had a not-so-good life. She has spent most of her time in a crate. She's a 16 month old yellow lab. They have to get rid of her (thank goodness). If they couldn't find a home they were gonna put her down. :(

That's great Chris, I hope it works for all of you.

I can't wait to hear how it goes. Please keep us updated. (Photos would be great too. ;) )

HAHAHAHAAA!!!!

She is quite a bit smaller than Maggie I think, and not as sleek. But she is a pretty girl.

So, what are you thinking of naming her? Huh? HUH?!

Thanks. Pics will definitely be forthcoming. I pick her up at 5:00 tomorrow.

yeah. We're hoping it's just a very bad sinus infection pressing on my eyes causing the vision to be hazy. That's the very best option at the moment. Right now my world looks like a dog licked my glasses and I never cleaned the lenses.

I won't say I'm not a little scared.

I will. We wait a few days to see if the antibiotic makes a change. If not, it's a trip to the eye doctor...then an mri. But if the antibiotics change anything, then it's just a bad infection.

So we're watching midsummer murders (British tv)...the thing I've noticed is that in every episode, nearly everywhere they go, people have dogs. You just don't see that in American shows. You see dogs...but just not constantly in every place they visit. I wonder if it's a cultural thing? It's not like people here don't have dogs.

The Midsommer Murder shows are great. Beautiful scenery, great cast, good whodunit's.

I'm back. Thanks, Zane.

I've been to the mountain, and came back with a bunch of stone tablets---very heavy. Mainly, I've just been doing a lot of thinking.

Oh...the wedding was fun. It was an outdoor wedding on a golf course. The weather was perfect, and everything went off without a hitch. I ended up not being the best man. I was actually the second choice (story of my life), but the first choice was having terrible back problems. At the last minute, he felt well enough to do the job, and I was very happy to let him. He was pretty spaced out on pain-killers, but he made it through everything. I was only a groomsman, and the only non-cop in the bunch. Even the fellow who officiated at the ceremony was a police lieutenant. (also a Canon user, and now a member of POTN).

It was very enjoyable. I will try to get a photo of me in a tux. I look just like Danny Devito as the Penguin.:o:o
