You forgot to add hunting. Watching guys sneak around in the woods and whispering is boring!!!!!

They have hunting programmes?

what a snoooooooooooooooze that would be...

Almost as boring as watching "Indoor bowls" on UK tv....

I can't handle what not to wear, but i do like HGTV

I like watching the what not to wear because I love the shoe shopping.

I would KILL to be able to go drop $5K on clothes in NY.

Simply lovely professional shots Tiffy.

Thanks.

I guess I'll have to add clothes shopping with the wife to the list. I am often looking for a chaise lounge next to the dressing rooms whilst holding other bags maybe a purse.

:lol::lol:

I'm thinking I might want to go shopping this weekend since I have no shoots scheduled.

Updated list:

1. golf
2. Hunting
3. Fishing
4. baseball
5. Nascar
6. old 40's, 50's, 60's movies

True that!

Belmondo wrote in post #9875159 (external link)
That would seem to solve the problem of 'where did the weekend go?' If you're having a good time, it's over before you know it, and you're back to teaching Spanish.

Watch auto races. It's like an extra day off.

ROFLMAO!!!

WHAT??!!??!!

Casablanca(1942) and His Girl Friday(1940) are two of my favorite movies of all time!!

Some would add It's a Wonderful Life(1946) and Citizen Kane(1941) etc to that list too!!

Those are classics and are rarely played. i was thinking more along the lines of Plan 9 from outer space or The Slime People or Cat People, or Teenage Caveman.

That makes sense, thanks for the explanation. When does racing season start? I can't believe that they are going 200mph!

I've never seen a non cartoon racing movie, except the non cartoon version of Speed Racer, and that felt more like a drug trip than anything else

For die hard racers, the season never ends. It just shifts to the warmer hemisphere.

NASCAR runs from February to November.
Formula 1 runs from March to November.
SCCA has event year round.
Izod IndyCar runs February to October.
ALMS runs from March to October.
Grand-Am runs from January to September.
Australian V8 Supercars runs from February to December.

I recently watched my first Australian V8 Supercar race on TV, and thoroughly enjoyed it. NASCAR needs more road courses.

I had WRC on the list and figured I was probably the only person that watched it.

I didn't include any of the motorcycle series. Or any of the various truck series. If you like racing, you can find a race somewhere in the world on any given weekend.
