Hey.. We do lawnmower races in out neighborhood every Thanksgiving weekend.

Only in America...
I'm convinced that if something has a motor or engine on it, someone, somewhere, in the USA is racing it...

We are certainly diverse where I am. Then again there is something to be said for being able to leave your doors unlocked, let your kids out without a a guard, and not having to worry if you leave a bicycle in the yard that it will be stolen. I could give up a little diversity for some small town living. I am not saying diversity causes crime but it seems the most diverse places in this country have a different feel. I have lived in and around the city my whole life. For me there is an instant feeling of comfortable when getting out of it. Do whats right HERE

He knew, instinctively, that it was over. There was no explaining it, it had just ended. He had hoped early on that the relationship would work, that the differences would fade away but, after three months, Larry had reached that hard truth that they would not fade. They became insurmountable. Larry had the genetic urge to migrate back to his home up North and he knew that the chair would not join him. Belmondo wrote in post #9874724 Anyone heard from Lisa yet today? I have. Woolburr wrote in post #9874808 I haven't heard any reports on that...she said she was going to try to go today if she was still breathing. I'm just speculating that since we didn't see the usual early morning post from Dan that they loaded up and attempted to get some fun in. Spent the morning with the dogs. We didn't go to the tulips. kumatron wrote in post #9874947 My third question is, would someone like to come over and watch an NON cartoon with me?? ![]() Can I come over? Woolburr wrote in post #9874990 Green flag.....the race is on. Track is clear. Yellow flag....caution, slow down....assume the speed of the safety car. (The lone exception here is that on some road courses, there is what is known as a local yellow. It is only displayed in one area of the track and is usually used in the event of a very temporary event that doesn't really necessitate slowing the race on the entire track) Red flad....race and all race activity stopped until track is safe. Black flag.....shown to one specific car at a time for some infraction of the rules. Car must enter the pit area immediately to serve the penalty or the scoring on the car will be stopped and the car disqualified. Blue flag.....move over....displayed to slower competitors to warn them that they are being overtaken by a much faster car. Checker flag....the race is over. Pink flag: Lonnie on da track! Belmondo wrote in post #9875033 That would be a 2011 Lexus. Nice! kumatron wrote in post #9875151 WHAT??!!??!! Casablanca(1942) and His Girl Friday(1940) are two of my favorite movies of all time!! Some would add It's a Wonderful Life(1946) and Citizen Kane(1941) etc to that list too!! You had me until Citizen Kane. I could never finish that movie. I can't find the "legend" to this annotated pic, but I remember laughing uproariously at it. cfpackerfan wrote in post #9876491 Aimee is doing GREAT, walking, playing, etc. Nice. Frankenpit. I tend to ramble. Feel free to put me on ignore.

Black flag with Skull and Crossbones: Car has been boarded, it's driver keel hauled and is now being driven to a secret cove in the Tortugas. Yellow and Orange flag, bisected diagonally: Nothing really, someone's sending semaphore. "Stars and Bars" of the Confederacy: Southern NASCAR fan. Dude. You lost. Deal with it.
