M, Tv, Av, P, etc. via pressing a button and then using the Main Dial instead of that easily-bumped free-standing knob . . . ah yeah. It's been so long since I've had a dial, I forgot about that. .. Makes a nice pair with your 1Ds2. I am looking for something with the latest noise processing. I love my 1DsMkII but it is really noisy at high ISO. No problem for a lot of what I do but that combined with slow fps it is not ideal for fast low light shooting. My 5D I also love, does pretty darn good at even 1000 ISo but still not fantastic. So I am thinking a 5D2 for nice IQ, good noise handling, and full frame, which I like. Then again it is not real fast fps. So I think 7D, not expensive, seems decent IQ but a crop body, not sealed, and debatable not as nice IQ depending which cwap I read. Then there is the 1DmkIV. Good noise handling, way fast fps, sexy 1 bullet proof body, but a crop and as much as like 3 7Ds. Hmmmm, crop not terrible for sports shooting as I am always shooting long..... Seee how it goes? Then I look at Nikon and they seem to have everything I want..... Becky N wrote in post #9924424 G'MAE all. Rainy day today, good day to clean the house and prep for tomorrow's dinner and family time. The youngest one here tomorrow is 19, I'm thinking of having an egg hunt. Doing up small baskets for every place setting and think everyone has to find one egg before they can come to the table...my worry is Bax finding the eggs first. ![]() Hope it was a nice day. T.D. wrote in post #9925671 Well, it's settled.... I present to you Grace (or Gracie to her friends) - the Labrador formerly known as Nicki. Awwww, that's sweet, Chris. T.D. wrote in post #9925915 She is AMAZINGLY well-adjusted. She is so wonderful I can't even believe it. Except for the messy business that's now done (YAY!) she has been SO easy. She doesn't have any oddities or neurotic behaviors that I can see at all. She is so happy. And appreciates everything - especially sleeping on my bed and on the couch. It's like she's died and gone to heaven.I can't see any indication that there is anything wrong with her leg. Had they not told me I probably never would have known. Thanks. No real story. I am Graced to have her in my life. She is a blessing. And I've always loved that name. And it will be a constant reminder of how lucky I am that she came to live with Maggie and me. ![]() I can't wait to see it either. I'm thinking 3 letters -- Z - O - O (no dots). ![]()
