Thanks.

Congrats. How do you like it?

Mine isn't shipping until "late April."

Sounds like you've ordered the 3G version which isn't going to ship till the end of this month. I figured that would be somewhat unnecessary for me because there's usually a wireless network wherever we go. Also, I didn't want to pay for another data plan. I always have the iPhone in a pinch.

I'll be perfectly honest; I didn't really want the iPad, at least not now. I made the mistake of saying I thought we'd own something like that someday, and Lois decided now was the time. (She's been paying close attention to all the hype on TV recently.) I didn't go to the Apple Store until this afternoon, figuring they'd be sold out. Driving 90 miles each way just seemed easier than arguing about it. I was shocked they still had some, and there wasn't much of a line.

As to whether I like it or not, that will take a little time to get used to it. I haven't logged onto the home network with it yet, and I have to synch it with my computer.

I'll keep you posted after I've played with it.

Hi guys...I'm here for a few more.

This is the senior that I shot with today. She was so amused at my mishap with my pants (the fabric bit the dust, or turned into it or something) that she nearly fell out of a tree..... :-S

She is cute - I like the first one. Not good on the almost falling out of the tree though

so I got this pain in my finger this afternoon while leaving the park, look at my hand and it has a big lump below the 1st joint, felt almost like it was going to explode. Now it is a nice purpleish bruise with a dull ache to it. weird.

Hmmm, does gout do that?

Skrim17 wrote in post #9927987 (external link)
I would think so too Paula, but there is no head or anything, as it swelled it looked like the vein itself was going to pop thru my skin. I am having some more pain in my wrist as well, might head to the ER actually it looks pretty nasty.

Let us know, I hope it's nothing

So, I leave for an afternoon, and Zane considers going Nikon?

I tried on a dress but it just didn't have the same appeal as a new camera.

Crissa

Gout Symptoms
The first symptom of gouty arthritis is typically the sudden onset of a hot, red, swollen joint. The most common joint involved is at the base of the big toe, but almost any joint can be involved

When to Seek Medical Care
Anyone who has a sudden onset of a hot, red, swollen joint should seek medical care, either with a primary-care physician, at an emergency department, or with a rheumatologist (arthritis specialist). These symptoms can also be due to an infection or loss of cartilage in the joint

I didn't want to say anything, but.... the D700 would be ideal for what you're looking for... ;)

Chris just left. All four dogs had a blast. :D

So does this mean that you have two worn out pups and Chris has two that will fall asleep on the way home?

Very sweet. Wow, very gentle, loving... really a great dog. Especially when you consider her past. She seems to have no lingering after effects of abuse.
