We just had a great visit with Chris, Maggie & Grace.

I can't believe it went so well. I had no idea how Kona or Hale would act. Hale was completely overwhelmed and interacted only on the fringes. But mostly spent her time btw. Dan, Chris or myself. Kona was in heaven. Gracie did amazingly well for never being around other dogs. She tried to dominate (in the "intimate" sense) Kona a few times (we thought it would be the other way around):lol: and it kind of freaked him out. But honestly it couldn't have gone smoother. They all played very well together (the 3 big ones) and it never really every went crazy or got out of hand.

Gracie is huge. She stands a few inches taller than Kona or Maggie...so when she plays it's like a big redish golden bear playing. Kona is not used to being the "smallest" one on the playground. He got defensive a few times.

Over all though I was so pleased how they played. Maggie is still Kona's main squeeze. They rolled around together (not wrestling...just rolling...it was so cute) for a bit.

Grace is very well behaved. You'd never know she came from such a horrible home. Her teeth are great, her ears are great. She's a very thoughtful dog. Even when the others were barking, she didn't. She didn't jump on the counters or beg at the table.

Chris is very fortunate. Gracie is a great dog. I'm not just saying that. In my mind, before I had dogs, she was what I thought dogs were like.

So, I leave for an afternoon, and Zane considers going Nikon?

HE IS? SWEET!!

I am looking for something with the latest noise processing. I love my 1DsMkII but it is really noisy at high ISO. No problem for a lot of what I do but that combined with slow fps it is not ideal for fast low light shooting. My 5D I also love, does pretty darn good at even 1000 ISo but still not fantastic. So I am thinking a 5D2 for nice IQ, good noise handling, and full frame, which I like. Then again it is not real fast fps. So I think 7D, not expensive, seems decent IQ but a crop body, not sealed, and debatable not as nice IQ depending which cwap I read. Then there is the 1DmkIV. Good noise handling, way fast fps, sexy 1 bullet proof body, but a crop and as much as like 3 7Ds. Hmmmm, crop not terrible for sports shooting as I am always shooting long..... Seee how it goes? Then I look at Nikon and they seem to have everything I want.....

Hi folk

That's exactly what happened to me.

Hi guys...I'm here for a few more.

This is the senior that I shot with today. She was so amused at my mishap with my pants (the fabric bit the dust, or turned into it or something) that she nearly fell out of a tree..... :-S

Well, everyone has to take my "I likes" with a grain of salt these days...but in saying that...I like

I tried on a dress but it just didn't have the same appeal as a new camera.

LOL :lol::lol:...same thoughts here.

I didn't want to say anything, but.... the D700 would be ideal for what you're looking for... ;)

Chris just left. All four dogs had a blast. :D

It's so funny...took me forever to say what you send in a sentence or 3.

no better than I can tell. But it was nice to have a distraction. Chris never mentioned that the dilated eyes freaked him out so I guess it was all cool.

How are you doing?

Or you can do what Leyla used to do. Lie and say you found it in your car with a note that said "give me a good home" :-|

I took some videos of the dogs tonight on the G9. Oddly enough my house really ddin't seem any smaller with Gracie here than just with Maggie visitng. I think it's because the dogs were a bit calmer than usual. All of them.

How are you doing?

Distraction is good. Do you get a chance to not be dilated so you can tell if you are still blind? I can't see on those things.

I am okay. I do better outside in medium light. Inside with different contrasting things up close like the PC, lights, shadows of the key board, make me crazy. I am tempted to patch it.
