Just catching up now.

If you are interested at all in the kooky family life that we have, you are welcome to watch this. (I didn't know he was recording, LOL)

Wade, in his infinite creativity, made spaghetti tacos for dinner last night.
We thought it was the funniest thing ever. I couldn't stop laughing.

You have a very weird family!

All Burger King commercials are disturbing... That's just one reason why I will never eat there.

Advertisers always say that if it catches your attention, it was a successful ad. Yeah, well... It doesn't work that way with me.

ring the doorbell, its better.

My furkids all scatter and hide whenever someone knocks or rings the doorbell. Jeez... You'd think they were the ones responsible for paying the bills around here, and had fallen a few months behind...

All my dogs have figured they were lap dogs....Bo was one of the worst offenders....all 110 pounds of him!

My brother's female Rottweiller named Beau (whatta coinky dinky) also thought she was a lap dog. Or, at least a lay-on-top-of-you-while-you-try-to-relax-on-the-couch-and-watch-tv dog. I'm pretty sure she was a little bigger than 110 pounds, too.

okay so we all have a group of relatively young dogs. Is Amikah the oldest? Or Terri's dog (can't remember if she's got Puppy or Sweetie)? Or Ginger?

Cuz Zoe, Harley & Hale are all under 1 old.
Kona, Baxter & Jasper are btw 1 & 2
Maggie is 2.

I somehow missed this until Jon quoted it.

Technically, for her size, Ashley died pretty young at 9-years-old (though I still believe she was probably as much as five years older than that -- I want to believe that!)... Minnie is now the same 9-years-old that Ashley was. But, while Minnie is basically the same breed and size, and even though Ashley got a TON of exercise with all the hiking she used to do, and Minnie is a homebody who prefers to sleep in her crate for 20 hours a day, Minnie is surprisingly in very fit condition.

holy cow Jon! I thought dogs only lived about 8-9 years.

The oldest dog I ever had was Muffin, a very small terrier mix, who probably weighed no more than five pounds at any point in his life. He was 16 when I finally decided it was just too cruel to keep hanging onto him with all of the physical problems he had, and I had him put down.

The oldest cat I ever had was a pure-bred Siamese named Remington. I adopted her when she was 7, and she lived to be 18.

The oldest dog I've ever known was my aunt's poodle Suzette. She was either 20 or 21 years old when she died, and it wasn't from natural causes, either. She was run over by a car.

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

I've pretty much sworn off fast food burger joints. If I was going to go because of the ads, I'd eat at Jack In The Box. I love their ads. Unfortunately for them, it's not enough to get me to eat there.

Kona just got all his shots, dewormed (just for the heck of it I guess), weighed etc. He came in at a whopping great 49lbs. Put on a whole half a lb from last time. He didn't see his regular doctor and the new one was concerned that his temp is 103 something...until she saw that his temp is always 103 something...said it had to do with his high metabolism & getting himself worked up on the way over. I never realized he always had a high temp.

I stop at Jack in the Box occasionally. Maybe four or five times a year. They have a pretty good sirloin burger that I like.

And, about as often, I have to get my fix at Tommy's, just because it's soooo good! A good ol' double cheeseburger with chili cheese fries and my arteries are clogged up good enough to get me to the next season!

That's about it for me when it comes to fast food burgers, though. In fact, that's about it for me as far as fast food is concerned in general. The only other place I like is Jimboy's Tacos, but those are all in Northern California and Nevada, so I don't get to them often. If there was a Jimboy's here in the Antelope Valley, I'd probably be there every week!

Probably a good thing there isn't one here...

They've got 'to die for' strawberry milkshakes with chunks of strawberries, and topped off with whipped cream and a maraschino cherry!:D

If you go to Jack's website (external link)and click 'commercials,' you see some of their most recent ones. I particularly enjoyed the one with the two women in his office.

hey CHRIS!

I was watching sports center today and they showed this girl basketball player (19yrs old) punch another girl. Not a big deal (she got busted) except for the fact that the puncher is:

a 6ft 8' woman...with a size 17 MEN's shoe. holy moo  HOCK!!
