Here is a link to a video about horse racing in Maryland. It is just a trailer but it is about 6 minutes of information that really shows a glimpse of Maryland's horse and race world. I know everyone interviewed in the trailer and recognize just about every horse and rider including the folks in the fox chasing scene. It was kind of neat to stumble upon. At about 5 minutes they are interviewing a friend who's farm I shoot a private race at that I have shared pictures from. If you slow down the race clips I bet you could find me on course shooting.

Listening to him I would check the gear or wedding forum. "Tripod? Did you use one? Huh, did you?........How fast is that lens, huh? Those look soft, where is your L?...."

Cheapest flight --- Asheville to Jacksonville.....$520 open booking no date specified.

This is hysterical. The flight goes from Asheville to Charlotte, Charlotte to Philadelphia, Philadelphia to Jacksonville.

Sounds like one time Ann & I had to go to Huntington WV from DC for work. Could have gone via Pittsburgh or Seattle. Same price. We were tempted to go via Seattle and take a stop-over there :{)# (we ended up flying to Charleston and renting a car; but the airline lost our luggage and had to drive it down there later that night)

I thought maybe also, the one kneeling? The feed is still coming in for me so haven't got to the 5 minute mark yet. Figured I'd let the buffer completely load before watching more.

This is a JR. race, I am the only person you see on course at 7:12 shooting where the PVC rail meets the wood rail at the judges stand. You also hear me shooting the win photo at the end but don't see me.
I am excited for race season.
Jon you want to shoot the Howard race again? It's may 1st.

Nope I don't kneel much around racing horses. That is the biggest race of the year which I shoot from way out in nowhere land. That race gets international coverage and there are lots of shooters there. Almost all shoot the jumps near the finish. I jump in a truck with the fence judge for the farthest jump. I can see a good bit of the race from out there, there are two fences side by side so I get two chances to shoot and one of the fences there is the races largest at 4' 11". That's big.

In that one clip I posted they interview a guy who is saying he had his first fall before he was born. "that's what made me like I am" lol, he has had a few more falls since.

This is him.
