i don't know if this shot has been overdone enough to be cliche yet, but i was bored last night:

i figured i'd have to go through a few bulbs to get the manual expsure right, but my first guess was pretty good! not bad, considering i don't ever shoot manual. haha. any thoughts are appreciated, thanks!

Nice shot, I've done something similar here

I changed the colour of mine as the natural colour of the bulb bored me ;)
I didn't try breaking the entire glass though, just enough to let some air in :)

i did one similar, only poking a small hole in the glass, but unfortunately i turned down the shutterspeed when i meant to turn down the iso (only used my 5d a couple times now) and it was way over-exposed. whoops!
