Went out yesterday and took a few shots of a waterfall and stream that used to be an old Mill in Roswell, GA. I like the results, but I'm sure I'm missing some items. Let me know what I could have done differently/better.

Nice photos!

I especially like the way number 1 came out. The composition is interesting and it is exposed well.

To be honest, I'm not sure about number 2, the flowing water is nice, but then again you have that in every other shot, and it's not clear what the subject is.

Number 3 has a nice composition, but unfortunately the harsh shadows somewhat work against the mood. I think trying the shot at dawn or dusk (especially the latter) could help.

Number 4 is nice, although for some the dead trees might be somewhat of a negative (although obviously this is just a matter of taste). I think in a few weeks the spring foliage might make for a more pleasant atmosphere, and fall might make this into a killer scene.

By the way, could you please tell me where the bridge picture was taken? I assume it's somewhere along Riverside?

No, it was actually over at the Roswell Mill. At the corner of Atlanta St (Roswell Rd) and Marietta Hwy. Down the road a bit from Riverside.

Thank you for the feedback. These were all taken around 6pm, so it was really close to dusk. The problem is that the waterfall is somewhat down in a ravine, so the sun was setting below the hill above.

I have a bit of a wider shot of #2. I'm not sure what I was trying to do, I just liked the log right near the break.
