It was a great game. Both sides played well, it was a pleasure to watch.

drisley > I can't help but to notice your signature... Canada won the most gold medals in a winter Olympics. But thats partially due to more gold medals available to be won. Canada won 14 out of 86. In the Winter Games of 1976 the Soviet Union won 13 out of 37. But not to rain on Canada's parade, they did very well in these Olympics and should be very proud of their athletes and achieving more golds than any other country there.

Thanks for the congrats, and congrats to the US for winning the most total medals.
Soviet Union had 290 million people and Canada has 35 million, and the Soviets were known dopers so it all evens out. But all of this is moot.
The record books will only show Canada at the top of the gold medal podium. I'm just so proud!

what a game for sure. Couldn't be more bummed about the US loss but you guys outplayed us in the offensive zone all day long. The gold was deserved for sure, congrats!!!
