Canon is offering 2 rebates,
#1) Buy 5D MK II + Canon Pixma Pro9500 MK II - $500 rebate. (link (external link))
#2) Buy 5D MK II + Canon Pixma Pro9000 MK II - $400 rebate (link (external link))

This deal corresponds with rebate #2 (I will explain why)

Canon 5D Mark II + 24-105mm f/4 IS Lens for $3,299.95
-Includes: Lowepro Nova 170 AW Shoulder Bag (Chestnut Brown with Black Trim) & Canon LP-E6 Rechargeable Lithium-Ion Battery Pack (7.4V, 1800mAh) & SanDisk 16GB Extreme CompactFlash Memory Card

Canon PIXMA Pro9000 Mark II Inkjet Printer $446.95

Total: $3746.9

If you sell the Canon 24-105 f/4 IS L lens for ~$900
If you sell the Canon Pixma Pro 9000 Mark II for ~$400
Rebate: $400

Total of "get backs" : $1,700

So your NET for the 5D M2 would be ~$2046.9

Remember, this is not even including the
-Lowepro Nova 170 AW bag
-Canon LP-E6 battery
AND
-SanDisk 16GB Extreme CF card that you "CAN" sell to make the deal even sweeter.

Reason why I'm showing just the rebate #2 is because the Printer in rebate #1 is $250 more expensive, and the rebate is only +$100

I hope this helps somebody out there who wants a 5D Mark II :)

That printer usually sells for $250. That will up the price of the camera by $150.

I see those printer on craigslists for as low as $180. I'm not sure if you'll get $900 for the lens since the market is flood with the 24-105 lens. You'll find at least 3-4 listing of that lens in almost every region. At least for larger cities.

$2300 on ebay with 8% bing = a tad more than $2050 but without the hassle of selling printers and lenses.

From Post #9 in this Thread:

Try This:

I am guessing you are not familiar with bing cash back, no biggie.

1. Make a bing cash back account. If you already have a xbox live account or something, just use that. Register that account here http://www.bing.com/cashback/ (external link)

2. Use the bing search engine to search for something like "xbox" or "wii". It doesn't really matter. At the top of the page you will see something that looks like this:

QUOTED IMAGE

It should say "XBox - www.eBay.com (external link) - " Then a gold dollar coin then "Bing cashback"

Click on the "Bing cashback"

3. This takes you to eBay with Bing cashback enabled. All you have to do now is search for the camera in the search field. Use the seller I linked in the earlier post, that is the only one I have found that is authorized on eBay. Look for the gold coin as that tells you it is Bing cashback eligible. (see picture below)

QUOTED IMAGE

4. Use the "Buy it Now" Option and buy it =) Bing Cashback will give you money back to you paypal account. Some times it sets a delay of 3 months, some times it happens instantly, I am not sure why the difference, but I have always gotten my money and I have used bing cash back 5 times.

haha, no way you are getting even CLOSE to 400 for that printer. The market was/is absolutely flooded with that thing.

Yea but it most likely won't be from a reputable seller. Trust me, check their names out on resellerratings.com and you'll get about 50% bad reviews on those sellers. A lot of the items are import models without a Canon USA warranty.

Have you searched?...these listings are from authorized canon dealers with 99% positive feedback, USA warranty....some of whom I've purchased other gear from before.

Yep, I've searched. They have 99.9% ratings on ebay but when you google their names the results aren't nearly as good. Seems like a toss up, about half of the people get what they want and the other half have a whole lot to complain about (some type of scam or receiving an import model without a Canon USA warranty when told that it is a US model). Let me know if you have any firsthand experience and can vouch for a specific seller as I'd love to trust these ebay sellers...

Canon will fix gray market bodies/lenses, it's Nikon who you have to worry about when it comes to buying non-USA models.

If you have an invoice from an authorized Canon dealer.
