I especially like the first image..beatifully photographed and what a great looking Hawk ( one of my favourites).

Because this image has so much going for it I think there is more potential. Its a little dark IMHO and the bird appears to be leaving the frame because of the distance behind it as opposed to in front of it. You have "image editing OK" with your signature so here is an edit that I think demonstrates what I am thinking. I used curves in PS to brighten the image while keeping contrast plus a selective dodge in and around the eye ( soft brush, 10% opacity) I added canvas to the left side of the image and then used the marquee tool to copy the sky in front of the bird and paste it into the added canvas.The seam was belnded using a soft brush with the cloning tool at 50% opacity. I then cropped to remove some from the right and bottom of the frame. I hope you approve and if not I can remove the edit at your request.
