I found myself at sky harbor Friday morning and ended up with a few good shots despite the brown haze in the air. I split my time between the terminal 4 and terminal 3 parking garages, most, if not all of these were shot with the 100-400 on my MkIII. Not a bad effort. Your gallery shows some very contrasty images.

Pretty dramatic if intended .. blocked up blacks if not. ;)

I'd like to see someone, maybe a baggage handler, in that shot to add some more interest.

Did you know that you could have posted two attachments here?
In the "Share" areas IMAGE POSTING RULES only allow 2 attachments by the OP per thread, OR 8 embedded (linked) images, OR a combination of both totaling 8. (Maximum 1024 pixels on any side.) You can always just post a link to more, though, or better yet, post a link to a gallery so we don't have to click on each image link.
Some exceptions are group threads, like "Show Me...", "Post your best...", equipment reviews, Tutorials, etc.
You may add a few additional photos if requested, but only in a reply to other member's post and request.

Thanks for all the comments. I typically enjoy higher contrast in my shots, and the brown haze at phx was making all of my pictures look pretty flat. Next time I post I'll embed a few more shots so everyone doesn't have to go check out my gallery.

We're pretty big fans of morning light around here. Definately better to shoot early rather than late due to the "Brown Cloud."

Looking good Brian. How do you like the 100-400?

hey man, I like the reach, but I'm not quite sure how sharp it is, I need to do more testing with it before I decide if it's operator error (most likely) or the lens (unlikely from some of the test shots I have).

I'm partial towards the Tri-Jets.

#18 nice if it had a much tighter crop...

Thanks!

I could probably crop that in pretty tight, I'll have to play around with it and see what I come up with.
