Same here, haven't had any lenses I felt needed adjustment and know that you can't check for critical focus on even the 920000 pixel LCDs (at 10x it still isn't 100% on a 50D) so the 230000 pixel is fine for me.

Mar 04, 2010 19:18 | #32 I almost went 40D but liked some of the 50D features and thought it worth the extra money. Nothing wrong with the 40D at all and I would probably have been happy with it.

The 40D is a nice camera and the 50D is like a 40D but with a couple of nicely added features. Most importantly the higher rez screen, the MA, and a few other little ones. If you think those are worth the 50 instead of the 40 go for it. I would honestly rather get the 7D which cost around the same as the 70-200 IS.
