Saw this yesterday at the airport - interesting plane someone said was a Piaggio? Has a high-pitched whine compared to similar size prop planes...

Yup! Very cool, and probably one of the fastest props out there. Has a very nice size interior as well!


D300 w/ a couple of lenses and flashes.
Shoot Nikon, but wouldn't mind a few Canon things :cool:

Since they face backwards, the props are in "dirty" air which has been disturbed by passing over the wings. That and the fact that the exhaust from the engines also passes through the props gives this plane an unusual sound.
