All the space around the elk is deliberate. I didn't want to do a tighter crop because I like their scale and it's really how I saw this scene to begin with.

GaryFairhead Cream of the Crop  More info | Mar 03, 2010 20:30 | #4 I am not crazy about all the space at the bottom but there are many elements to this photo that are quite pleasing ..textures, sky, desaturated treatment, the variety of poses on the elk..nice. If scale is what you are after you certainly have accomplished that but I am wondering if that could still be done with a little less on the bottom. Just my opinion.....
